Ground Speed: 95 mph (144 km/h) maximum (60 mph (100km/h) Cruising Speed) on paved streets, dirt roads, gravel, rocky deserts, grassy plains, shattered roads and rough terrain. Half that speed (or less depending on conditions) on andy deserts, and driving through water or snow deeper than one foot (0.3 m) up to five feet (1.5 m) deep. Woodland environments and thick underbrush are likely to be impassable by this vehicle unless there is a well-traveled path to take; maximum speed is likely to be less than 10 mph (16 km) if passable at all. Note: Reduce speed by 50% when hauling a full load or anything close to it.
Maximum Range: Unlimited; Nuclear powered.
Penalties: None on paved streets, grass, dirt roads, gravel, stony deserts, and shattered roads. -5% to piloting skill on sand, and in mud as deep as two feet (0.6 m). -10% driving through water or snow deeper than six feet (1.8 m) up to 10 feet (3 m) deep, or on ice. Forests and dense vegetation, are likely to be impassable as are narrow mountain paths.
Flying: None.
Water: Can drive through water up to 10 feet (3 m) deep.
Crew: One driver in the nose cockpit, a co-pilot/navigator & a communications officer station behind Pilot Compartment. Can transport up to 22 soldier sitting in fully retractable seats.
Cargo Space:
4200ft square. ou 20 000 lbs (10 tons).
Along the walls of the cargo bay are airtight cargo containers (15 M.D.C. every four feet/1.2 m and for hatches) for stowing food, medical supplies, drinking water, ammo, firearms, electronics and other goods that are more delicate or vulnerable, and in need of additional protection.
Engine: Nuclear : 10 years.
Military Grade Whinch: Towing Capacity: 40 tons, but reduce speed by half.
Sensor System Note
1. Radar: Simple radar can identify and track up to 48 targets simultaneously at a range of 30 miles (48 km). 20ft altitude minimum. (May change depending on region).
2. Combat Computer: Calculates, stores, and transmits data onto the heads-up display (H.U.D.) of the pilot’s helmet. It is tied to the targeting computer.
3. Targeting Computer: Assists in tracking and identification of enemy targets, 30 mile range (48 km).
4. Laser Targeting System: Assists in the selection and focusing of specific targets and adds a bonus of +1 to strike when using long-range weapons.
5. Military-Grade Radio Communication: Wideband directional radio communication system with an effective range of about 500 miles (800 km).
6. Built-in Loudspeaker: 80 decibels.
7. External Audio Pickup: A sound amplification listening system that can pick up a whisper 300 feet (91.4 m) away.
8. Spotlights: Most vehicles will have at least one or two spotlights. Typical range is 600 feet (182 m).
9. Self-Destruct: A last resort measure to prevent one’s vehicle from being captured by the enemy. The explosive damage is fairly self-contained, destroying most of the internal systems with 2D6x10 M.D. However, it is very likely, 01-89% chance, that the nuclear power system is spewing forth deadly levels of radiation!
10. Voice Actuated Locking System: The vehicle's access hatch is sealed by an automatic locking system. A six digit spoken code programmed to a specific voice(s) pattern (six voice memory) is standard operating procedure. A manual key pad is provided in case of system failure/override.
11. Computer controlled life support system.
12. Internal cooling and heating/temperature control.
13. Air purification and circulation systems, gas filtration and a humidifier/dehumidifier automatically engages when needed. Can recirculate breathable air for up to four weeks before getting too stale to breathe.
14. Computer controlled, independent oxygen supply and purge system that automatically engages in low oxygen or contaminated air environments. Twelve hour oxygen supply.
15. Insulated, high temperature resistant shielding for up to 400 degrees centigrade (752 F). Normal fires do no damage. Nuclear, plasma, and magic fires do full damage.
16. Radiation shielded.
17. Polarized and light sensitive/adjusting tinted windows and viewports.
18. Computer Assisted Piloting Skill: +10%.
