They returned to the camp near level 3 and waited out the 10 days until their skin returned to normal and they weren't impervious to magic anymore.
They still searched for relics, but really carefully, so they didn't cover as much ground and they took it relax.
They did find a few relics.
Having found a Star Thread, they did multiple test to try and merge their relics and did many merges and trades.
At the end of that ten days, Miracle arrived with some 15 kids on her way down to Krom's Fortress.
They accompanied her through the maze of the third level, fighting off or avoiding creatures and encounter on their way down. Miracle is good at noticing signs of their presence, easily avoiding most encounter.
Arrived at level 4, Elanil decided to continue with Miracle while they stayed at the beginning of the 4th layer with their objective being: Find Shark meat while looking for relics, but they mainly looked for relics and forgot about the meat.
Joseph was attacked by a shark while searching inside the water of a pod and lost his hand, but managed to kill the shark. He got his hand back and then used his Kohond Eye plate merged with a Baaza Ball, which creates a potent Kashnook mix that heals a lot, and his hand did reattach.
The next day, Joseph was attacked by a Kohond and was caught and brought up back into the third layer, almost dying in the process from the damage and the curse, but survived barely by escaping after he managed to activate his psychic invisible haze.
They continued to look for relics, discovered a Fog Beatle nest. Joseph fought them while wearing his magical armor, which protected him fully against the bug's possible penetration, so he discovered they flash and blind people as well as regenerate even when dead, except if they are pushed away from being under the pods.
They did find many relics during those few days.
Elanil met a pink bunny like Kounaxian, apparently called Mitty, but the creature wasn't social and ran away from their group before Elanil could talk more to her.
