PROLOGUE
In the great Capital City of Ghateelock, a little over ten years in the End of Magic Era, chaos brews in the Barranor district.
A Thief Guild War is on the brinks, where recently, a third Guild decided to penetrate the district to take over.
The Red Gates Guild were always a little more conservative and friendly to the community and their numbers, a mere third of the Maleekym Guild. With the Scarecrows taking over partial area of their territory and clearly moving against the Maleekym, the Red Gates will have to try and survive a possible all out war where anything goes despite all previous arrangements and deals that had been made between them and the Maleekym.
The End of Magic Era:
A little over 10 years ago, magic in all its form stopped working, or almost. Any person or creature using magic or supernatural powers have seen their ability reduced to almost null. Some could try a thousand time in vain, while other might succeed at casting a spell, or using a simple magic trick once in a hundred attempts.
It was said that even powerful creatures couldn't use their magic anymore.
* System rule: Anything supernatural or magic, or psionic, even shapechanging, is affected. To cast a spell or use any supernatural ability, one must roll a saving throw with disadvantage, using the related spell casting attribute, or Constitution save for natural abilities that aren't related to any attributes.
