Summary Game #11:
Players: Vincent, Alex, Steve
The group, came out in Fuller and waited for the gates to open at Dusk.
They returned to Barranor without problem and found a Newspaper where a bounty was offered for anyone who would find and capture a Black Dragon Wyrmling.
The group reported to Tchignak about the cave and what they found. He was very happy about all of it and gave them a Wine bottle to celebrate.
Two days later, they saw Mr Crawley and Constable Bug enter the Red Barrel.
Sami used his magic to spy on the conversation and heard Mr Crawley had some kind of deal with Rakhell to provide people who might be able to open the sarcophagus. Mr Crawley also talked about the other group of people from their guild and Rakhell denied everything, but he knew they were from the Red Gates.
They decided to go talk to Rakhell and Ned, coming out clean about the whole Catacomb expedition.
They were asked not to return in the catacomb for a while and they were put on duty to restart and work on a Tunnel leading to Fuller for one month, tunnel that the Red Gates had already started building in the past.
As the Fuller Fest was approaching, fetching the wyrmling to get the bounty (which was for the Arena and the games during the festival), became time sensitive. So they were given the green light to fetch him 1 week prior to the festival.
The trio decided to go ask him if he'd be willing to participate and give himself up, keeping in mind they could beat him up if he'd refuse.
The wyrmling knew about the bounty although he tried to play the innocent card, feeling their intentions.
Through the discussion, they promised they'd try and break him out or try to make sure he'd survive the combats if he decided to go willingly.
On the way out, they tried to think of a way to hide the wyrmling and ended up asking for Kharn's Ring of Invisibility, which he accepted to lend, in condition that one day, they'd help him get out of Ghateelock, after which he would 'give' them his ring. But for now, he agreed to lend it to them for a day so the wyrmling would stay safe out there. With the ring, it became clear the wyrmling could escape easily after being put in the Arena's cell, after they'd get the 10,000 gold bounty.
Things went perfectly as planned. The wyrmling was delivered, they got the bounty and a few hours later, the wyrmling kept his word and returned to them, returning the ring as promised before returning to his den in the catacomb.
The Guild decided to let them keep the entire amount 10,000 / 5 of them = 2000 each.
** Mithran gave them back 200 GP to thank the thanks.
