At night, as they were posted to watch over the sector near the East Gate, they spotted a few suspicious individual and identified them as Maleekym.
After planning a stealth attack, they moved on the three men.
They quickly neutralized them, although Ragnarok was hit hard and fell unconscious right from the start.
Mithran inspected the Cathedral's lock and realized it had been picked recently, so he picked it again and entered, only to be facing another Maleekym.
The fight moved from the street into the Cathedral, where they had to fight the fourth, but soon after, a fifth individual.
The last Maleekym ran past them to try and flee, but he couldn't run as fast as Sami and they managed to catch up with him in another alley.
They neutralized him.
They returned to the Cathedral and found a priest tied up and gagged behind the Hostel.
Kharn appeared behind them to explain as they questioned the priest about the possible motives of the attacker. Kharn said they were after him, for his Ring.
As they talked with Khar they learned a few interesting and possibly important facts;
1) Kharn thinks Magic would work normally outside the boundaries of the Mountains.
2) Kharn thinks there are forces at work, keeping them within the the boundaries of the Mountains around Ghateelock. He was caught by a huge storm and forced to return once, then him and a few mercenaries, other priest and civilians were attacked by a band of Satyr, who seems to be able to use their magic without problem.
3) Kharn has a ring of Invisibility. He try to activate it every morning and says he usually succeed once every 2 or 3 days, while his magic only works once out of 10 attempts.
4) Kharn did offer to try and heal them whenever they would come back to see him with wounds.
5) Sami revealed to Kharn about his ability to cast 100% and Kharn offered to try and find out why 'him' can cast.
Vrak suggested to the group not to attack Kharn, since he could be a very good ally for them, possibly the Guild.
