Summary Game #13:
Players: Alex, Steve, Benoit, Vincent :: 2022-02-17
During the night, right after the Fuller Fest, Ned asked to group to make a run for Adamantium, giving them all the Gold they had just brought back to the Guild and stored in the chests.
They used the Tunnel, carrying the money into some form of disguise, woke the Adamantium seller in Kazmare and came back through the Tunnel, all without problem to give the metal to Ned.
The next day, around noon, they met with the entire council of Officers of the Red Gate.
Ned had betrayed the guild and took off with all the Guild's Gold (now turned into Adamantium).
The group was not blamed for doing that and instead, they were assigned the duty to find Ned and the Adamantium.
They did some Investigation, looking for clues in Ned's Tavern, room and known places.
Mithran found a strange drawing in Ned's room, one that looked like a face with tentacles. He was shocked, but dismissed it without telling the others.
The Group went to talk to Tchignak, thinking, somehow, that the Adamantium was linked to the Khavi, which was bought by Tchignak, but after talking with Tchignak, they realized their theory was likely wrong. They also learned the reason why Tchignak was so obsessed with the Khavi. Apparently, Tchignak was looking for a Blue Dragon living in the Khavi cave, because many years ago, another Khavi would have told Tchignak that such a Dragon lived with them, in the Khavi cave. ALso, Tchignak assured them he was a Kobold and not a Dragon, even if his mother was one, he too, didn't understand fully how and why, but he was convinced about the information and the fact that his mother was an actual Blue Dragon, living in the Khavi Cave, un der Ghateelock.
Nanouk asked for his help, and Tchignak gave him the pages to copy the spell: Locate Object. Nanouk promised he would bring the pages back before ever casting the spell once as Tchignak asked.
The group left, heading back so Nanouk could copy the spell in his spellbook, when a member of the Maleekym approached them. The Maleekym brought them in the alley nearby, where Daanvy was waiting for them.
Daanvy offered them the possible location of Ned's whereabouts, in exchange for them killing his second in command Cody.
After making sure this was not a trap and some negotiation, the group accepted the deal, but Daanvy had to tell them where Ned was first, then they'd take care of Cody, by giving him their word.
Daanvy told them where to find Ned: Near the Thallan Waterfall. He also told them where to find Cody, whom was allegedly in a weakened position, distracted, and woul dhave only two guards with him.
The group went to the house/hideout where Cody was supposed to be and got inside, using the Mithran Child tactic.
Daanvy had not lied, not tricked them. Cody was in that house with only two guards.
They fought well and no one got hurt bad. They killed Cody and the two guards, but also the hooker slave girl, the half-Tabaxi from the slave market in Fuller that they had seen during the fest. Mithran and Ragnarok killed her without remorse; After all, "No Witnesses" Daanvy had suggested earlier.
They then positioned all the corpses in a different setup to make it look like they all died while eating; the two guards, and fucking, Covy and the slave girl.
After a job well done, they decided to go directly to the Thallan Waterfall.
Mithran made a hook through the guild to look for Poke, but he was not available and Mithran didn't want to help.
*** ??? Did Mithran give his officer a quick update or not ??? ***
The group walked all the way to the forest, folowing what they thought was those made by a heavy wagon and dunkey, carrying a lot of adamantium, and they were right.
In the Forest, the Wagon was found at the bottom of the river, near a small bridge, but no sign of Adamantium. Then they continued to follow the trail left by the dunkey and Ned, into the forest until they found Ned's camp.
Ned, sitting by a fire, his face strangely deformed, showing some sort of large pimples on his face.
They approached in stealth.
Mithran from above the cliff in a good position to strike from afar.
Then Mithran looked to his left and saw another Mithran that had just arrived.
"Hello Mithran," the clone said. "It's been a long time, my friend."
