Summary Game #7:
Players: Vincent, Alex, Steve, Benoit
Mithran found Zephyros and Ragnarock first and they both rushed to the Maleekym's hideout to try and save Vumpek.
Lucky for them, the place was still empty, so they hurried to drag Vumpek out just in time before a gang of twelve Maleekym members stormed into the building.
Mithran had continued to find help and got Pokee to come heal Vumpek and Sami so that everyone could then flee the Maleekym's territory before getting caught.
Every members of the Red Gate were told never to be alone and all activities were adjusted accordingly to avoid losing more members.
After a week of rest and returning to normal activities, none of the Red Gates were killed.
Ragnarock was approcahed by a messenger with a letter from Tabitha, inviting him, Vumpek and two of their friends to participate in a game competition at the Kazimar Castle.
They were given bleu ticket to exit Barranor, conditional to them returning as required for anyone leaving with a blue ticket.
Sylvester approved all four of them could go to the party and enjoy the day, but he suggested they should go check the house in line with the possible tunnel being made in the last Maleekym's Hideout they found.
They went through the west gate the next morning, making a quick passage into Fuller and checking out the Arena a little before circling back to Kazimar.
They went to the wall where they could evaluate which house a tunnel might lead to.
Sami using his Familiar was able to assume it would lead to one of two houses. They checked around, found one house was empty and the other had children and adults in it, so they checked the empty one first, but found nothing.
Reckless and to the point, Mithran simply went and knocked at the door. A young kid answered the door. He asked the boy if there was a tunnel in the basement. The boy said there was no tunnel, then his father showed up and asked what he wanted. He pretended to be some sort of city official, saying some people had reported vibration and he had to ask if a tunnel was being built underneath.
The man invited him him to check out by himself, but as Mithran walked in, alone, his friends not even in sight as they were two houses down not to appear suspicious, he was about to walk down the stairs as the man showed him to, when he felt the man was going to do something against him and he also noticed a dagger hidden on the man.
Mithran said he had forgotten something after calling for help with his telepathic link to the others. The man didn't try to hold him inside and walked him out to the door.
Because there were Constables in sight, Sami, Vumpek and Ragnarock couldn't really run without raising suspicions, so Sami created a small illusion to distract the guards, whom all went after a possible suspect.
But meanwhile, Mithran decided to attack the man, alone, inside his house, although the door was partially opened.
He surprised the man first and then attacked him a second time, but the man was unexpectedly sturdy and Mithran didn't expect he'd actually be so strong as to put him down with two swift blows.
Mithran fell, near death at the man's feet and the man closed the door.
When Sami arrived at the door, he used his illusion to make a pounding sound on the door. Ragnarock and Vumpek were ready to intervene, but when the man opened the door, they all recognized each other, except Sami.
Daanvy, the Chief Leader of the Maleekym stood before them, with Mithran at his feet, dying.
Sami was quick witted to black mail Daanvy about the tunel, saying if he didn't let them save their friend, they'd tell everyone about the tunnel.
Daanvy didn't argue and allowed them to take Mithran out of his house to try and save him, but he asked for their current leader to come in and talk with him, alone.
Vumpek went inside and followed Daanvy to his basement, where he showed him the tunel. He offered him a deal and then Vumpek left the house, explaining the deal to the other three as they made their way to the Castle.
Mithran was healed by the Kazimar's Healer and they were all able to attend the games.
Tabitha introduced them to many other nobles and people in the castle before the games were explained and began.
An Egg race challenge, a clue race, some riddles and some searches later, they made it to the last two challenges.
